Multi-Pure® Corporation’s
Whole House Water Treatment System is designed to provide
the consumer
with an improved quality of water at every faucet and appliance.
Engineered to be installed on the main water
supply line, the Whole House System can be used for treatment
of all the water
in your home on one system. The disposable filter cartridge
(TO20) has been formulated of materials approved by the U.S.
Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Water enters the System at the main water supply
line and then passes through a high volume prefilter pad, trapping
unwanted large particulate matter. Next, the water must pass
through a depth bed of five pounds (5 lbs) of granulated
activated carbon containing 1,472,250 square meters of cleansing
by using an adsorption process. Fresh, clean water exits
the System and flows to the point-of-use.
The Multi-Pure® Water Treatment System effectively reduces
dirt, rust, sand, and algae, improving the smell, taste and
odor, and overall quality of water for bathing or showering,
and all other household water needs. For the highest quality
drinking water, Multi-Pure® Corporation recommends the installation
of one of the Multi-Pure® Drinking Water Systems at the kitchen
sink in addition to the Whole House Water Treatment System.
Multi-Pure®’s Drinking Water Systems
go beyond solving aesthetic water problems; they also reduce
contaminants of
health concern. The Multi-Pure® Water Treatment System is
also ideal for many commercial applications (restaurants,
bars, offices, ice machines, etc.) which have a need for
a high volume of aesthetically improved water. This System
will provide clean, clear, better tasting water at a cost
of approximately one cent per 50 eight ounce glasses of water
or 20 pounds of ice.
It is recommended that the Multi-Pure® Water Treatment System
be installed by a professional plumber, and that the optional
bypass valve kit (purchased separately from Multi-Pure® Corporation)
be used in the installation. When installed using the Multi-Pure®
recommended bypass valve kit, the Water Treatment System
filter can easily be changed without interrupting your water
flow. The Multi-Pure® TO20 replaceable filter is disposable,
clean and easy to change.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
The installation of a Whole House Water Treatment System
will cause a reduction in the water flow rate or pressure.
Flow rate/pressure drop will vary depending upon the
size of pipe in your home, the number of fittings and
outlets,
the height to which the water must be delivered, etc.
You will see a noticeable water pressure drop if multiple
outlets
(toilets, showers, dishwashers, etc.) are open (in use)
at the same time. It is recommended that multiple systems
be installed in larger homes with more than two bathrooms.
